SLAM'S CREATORS

As far as I can remember I was born, just like you were. But hey, if these guys want to take all the credit then that's up to them. They are the ones retelling my stories in comics after all.

IAN SHARMAN

This man is my spiritual father I guess.
Ian created the characters, universe and plot for my forthcoming comic book adventures.
He's a multi-talented artist and writer. Currently working as a colourist for Markosia and Image, he's also turned his hand to almost every aspect of comic book production, including writing, pencilling and lettering, and was trained to ink by comic book legend Tim Townsend. He joined forces with Pete at the 2006 Bristol Comic Expo, mainly in an effort to drink the Ramada dry and search Bristol town centre for poor quality fish and chips while missing out on the Eagle Awards dinner. Seems bent on world domination, which he apparently hopes to achieve by foisting Slam Ridley thongs on unsuspecting young women.

PETER ROGERS

Don't you just hate it when people put words in your mouth?
Well, that's exactly what this guy does. He takes Ian's ploys and turns them into scripts.
Pete's the father of one and writer of stuff. He founded Orang Utan Comics in an effort to finally publish the many stories he's had accepted by other publishers which have, nevertheless, yet to see print. Rumour has it that he was bitten by radioactive badgers at the tender age of twenty-nine-and-three-quarters and that this is the reason that he, tragically, can't physically eat (no, Pete, you are never living that one down). Apparently, he's won some competitions, or so he tells us, and is worshipped by a small tribe of Amazon pygmy frogs as some kind of God-King.
Peter's short story "Eye of the Storm" was recently published in the anthology "Mysterious Visions: After Hours" from Dimestore Productions.
