The fourth issue of FTL, also marks the culmination of our first year of publishing this fine anthology! Thank you so much to everyone who has helped to make FTL’s first year so utterly amazing those who’ve worked on the comic itself, and those of you who’ve picked up the book at a convention, ordered it online, or downloaded it from the web. We really couldn’t do this without you!
Inside the pages of this issue Josh Wagner and Steve Saunders engage us in an intriguing discussion involving death and art in Salvus; Melissa Hudson takes us back in time as we join Boadicca’s rebellion against the Roman Empire; Peter Rogers introduces us to the world of the Fifth Outlaw; and Michael Sacal and Greg Novak round out the issue with their spooky ghost story Witchfinder: Curse of the Poppet.
This really has been an amazing year for Orang Utan Comics. We’ve attended more shows than ever before, sold far more comics than any other year so far, and published three times as many comics as in any of our previous years. Next year will see us taking the big step across the Atlantic and attending our first
US
show, C2E2 in
Chicago
in April, and we also intend to publish a lot more books. Next year will see both FTL and Alpha Gods continue, plus trade paperback collections for both books…and hopefully a few more surprises here and there along the way!
So stick with us, and help us spread the word Orang Utan Comics are here to stay!
